JFN #36 Batting Cages are made from #36 Twisted Knotted Nylon netting. It is UV and weather treated for extra durability to last year round indoors or outdoors. This is the same netting found in many commercial training facilities and most high school and college fields. The long lengths allows hitters to practice with live pitching at the proper distances for all levels of softball as well as for little league baseball.
Warning: Black net treated with tar helps the net last much longer but could rubber off and mark up balls upon impact.
Is This Net Right For You?
The #36 nylon is the most commonly used net for baseball and softball. These cages are typically used for high school and college batting cages and can also be found in many commercial training facilities.
